Champions Network
Training and access to a national suite of resources and other champions is available if you register as a DA Champion as part of the champions network. You do not need to be a front line practitioner to become a champion.
i-Learn
Online training courses are available on the Torbay Council i-Learn website. If you are not a Torbay Council employee, click on support and login options and you will find a link to ask for a login request form.

If you work in a school you can register for the Op Encompass Key Adult Training via their website.
IDAS
IDAS (a specialist charity in Yorkshire) have online courses for individuals in organisations or voluntary groups working with adults, children and young people. As this training has been developed by another area, some of the statistics shown do not relate to Torbay.
Galop
Galop is the specialist LGBT+ charity who run the national LGBT+ Domestic Abuse helpline (0800 999 5428). They can provide various bespoke training sessions informed by the LGBT+ community including:
- Domestic Violence
- Sexual Abuse and Violence
Forced Marriage Unit
Free online training has been arranged by the Forced Marriage Unit (FMU) to raise awareness of forced marriage, challenge perceptions and inform you of the correct action to take should you suspect someone is at risk. The FMU has also produced a guidance document and additional reading to make sure professionals can provide effective advice and support.
Health Education England
Healthcare professionals can access free e-learning to improve awareness and understanding of FGM.
