Our brain is a very important part of our body and there is nothing wrong with talking about how we feel, especially if we feel unhappy or upset. Just like we’d go to a dentist with a toothache, it’s important to know what to do if we need some help with the health of our mind.
If someone close to you is making you feel bad about yourself, or hurting you in another way you might feel sad, angry, alone and confused.
How we think and how our bodies feel are connected so you may also feel tired or have other problems with your body like feeling achey or sick.
Not feeling ok is nothing to be ashamed of. You are not alone and there are people who can help. If you can, it's really important to tell someone like an adult you can trust.
